See original recipes (yes, including CHOCOLATE!!!) from Intrepid and Growler’s service and other artifacts that illuminate the monumental task of creating confections big enough to feed Navy crews. The special exhibition, Navy Cakes: A Slice of History, is on view in hangar 1 aboard Intrepid through October 2020 and is free with Museum admission. Donors who make a gift of $100 or more will receive a chocolate cake recipe featured in the Navy Cakes: A Slice of History exhibition.
