Hershey’s is launching new Crème Bars in Salted Caramel Crème and Affogato flavors. The two new crème-filled bars expand on Hershey’s existing caramel-filled milk chocolate bar and crème-filled Kisses. However, these layered candy bars offer a more elevated, smoother chocolate exterior. Hershey’s new Salted Caramel Crème features a salted caramel crème filling encased in milk chocolate, and the Affogato bar has espresso-flavored caramel and vanilla crème filling coated in milk chocolate. Hershey’s new Crème Bars are launching after The Hershey Company announced plans to enhance its recipes. While Hershey’s hasn’t said the new thin chocolate shell on these bars features those enhancements, after trying the new candy at Sweets & Snacks, the chocolate is of much higher quality. The milk chocolate is melt-in-your-mouth smooth and creamy with a rich, decadent flavor. The salted caramel in the Salted Caramel Crème Bar offers a delicious balance of sweet and salty—much more than the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Bar with Caramel. Both the Salted Caramel and Affogato Crème Bars will be available in king sizes and snack sizes at retailers nationwide. However, you won’t find them on shelves until the fall.
